mother's day falls on 8th may 05. all were ready to go to church. as usual i was still busy doing my hair, my face... den i heard loud noise - something broke. in my mind - must be my dad! mum and bro went down earlier on and waited in car ady.. rush out from my room, saw dad on the floor,head in toilet, toilet bowl (yes,those sitting type) broke.
"oh, my goodness!! dad! dad! are u ok??? dad! dad! dun scare me! dadddd... "
he stretched out his arms, i try to help him up, (in my mind - oh my goodness, dad, r u gonna be ok??). he was bleeding. i din know wat to do. sat him down on sofa. wiped the blood away. quickly called mum on cell and ask her to come up to the house.
she asked wat happened?? quickly briefed her. dad asked wat was he doing in the toilet?
this is not the first time he lost consciousness for awhile. it has happened. saw western doc, chinese, and even own traditional remedy, nothing seems to cure his 'cough'. one say bronchitis, now another says laryngitis. spent few whole days kena kick like a ball to different department. ENT la, medical, brain side. tomorrow still have to go do check up and take appointment.
*pray for God's mercy and grace to sustain my dad's life and that through this incident, may my dad truly know Jesus as his Healer. may God's glory be revealed using my dad's life as an example.*
" Father, i thank You that Lord, you've and You're always with me and my family. right now i just wanna commit my dad into Your loving hands, praying and knowing that Lord, You love him and You will heal Him. Father, we trust in You to work Your best in my dad. pray that Lord, my dad will truly see Your goodness in his life and Your healing power. Lord, take away his stubborn cough, take away his fatigue, take away his pain, take away his temper, take away his confusion, take away his weakness. i commit him into Your hands knowing that Lord, You heard my prayer and will begin Your wonderful works in him right now. I give You thanks and praise in all that You do for I know what happened is not by chance etc. Help us to give thanks continually and seek You even more at this time. In Jesus name; Amen! "
